Installing Silverlight Tools in Visual Studio (Offline) – Q.E.D

Installing Silverlight 3 tools can be quite challenging attimes, especially when your PC is connected to a slow network or it’s simply not connected at all.

To achieve a fast and efficient install, 3 files are needed from the microsoft site,

silverlight3_tool (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9442B0F2-7465-417A-88F3-5E7B5409E9DD)
silverlight3_sdk (www.silverlight.net)
silverlight_developer.exe (www.silverlight.net)

I did this in less than 5 minutes, all you need do is create a new folder anywhere you choose to and put the 3 files in it,

extract the content of silverlight3_tools
Extract the content of the file called “.rsrc_2″ into the same location
Run the application file called “SPInstaller”

Voila, you’re done!

Ok, here I am trying to understand the basics of Model-View-ViewModel. This coding practice seem so simple, yet it involves some intricacies.
